17 – 19 April : Scottish Chan Sangha Weekend

Welcome to a weekend of meditation, sharing & community.

If you are relatively new to meditation, experienced in mindfulness and curious to explore Buddhist Chan or if you are an old hand in meditation & Chan retreats: everybody is welcome.

The purpose of the weekend is to make friends with likeminded folk and to explore together how we can integrate meditative practices into our everyday life and translate our experiences on the cushion into how we live day by day.

There will be plenty of time to meditate as well as to talk, reflect, eat and enjoy the environment of Cherry Tree Lodge together. The weekend is held with a Western Chan perspective and a daily structure is provided with flexibility to accommodate the needs of individuals and the group.

Cherry Tree Lodge is a rural retreat & guest house in West Fife. Accommodation is in comfortable shared twin rooms. Mark will provide a full board and the event finishes after lunch on Sunday. Everybody contributes an hour or so per day to help in the kitchen or around the house.

The cost for the weekend including full board is £137.50.

There is a reduction of £10 if you bring your own towel and bed linen.

If finance is a barrier to attending please call to discuss a payment plan or for support from the retreat fund.
